National School Breakfast Week is March 4-8, 2024, and this year's theme, Surf’s Up with School Breakfast, celebrates the importance of a nutritious school breakfast in fueling students for success. Studies show that students who eat school breakfast are more likely to reach higher levels of achievement in reading and math, score higher on standardized tests, have better concentration and memory, and maintain a healthy weight.
Thank you to Mrs. Misty Osborne and her staff for providing our students a healthy breakfast each morning!

March 2, 2024 is Read Across America Day! Today, may we celebrate the power that is unleashed by reading.

On Tuesday, Mrs. Gay, Mr. Klaver, Ms. Long, Mr. Matthews, and seventeen student leaders from the high school attended the Jostens Renaissance All In event in Hampton. The day was filled with speakers from around the country who encouraged students and staff to bring back positivity to their school buildings. The goal of the event was to give these young leaders ideas of ways to build stronger relationships between everyone in their school community. Be on the lookout for all the amazing ideas these students plan to start or bring back to our Pointer community!
