🌿 Exciting day at Graves Mountain Farm & Lodge near the Blue Ridge Mountains! Hundreds of students from 30+ Virginia schools gathered for Envirothon training, diving into soils, forestry, aquatics, and wildlife with expert guidance. 🐾🌱

Before Thanksgiving break, our 7th grade Life Science students completed two exciting labs as they dove into the building blocks of life! 🧬🍓 They extracted real DNA from strawberries and built their own DNA models using marshmallows and Twizzlers. Hands-on learning at its sweetest — and most fascinating!

Our Pre-K students are busy learning and growing! They’re practicing writing the letter T, exploring shapes in shaving cream, enjoying performances in the auditorium—including the Veterans Day program—and working hard on learning their letters and cutting along a straight line. 💙🧡

🎭 West Point High School Drama Shines at Super Regionals! 🎉
This weekend, our One Act Drama Team traveled to Danville, VA to compete in the VHSL Super Regionals Theatre Festival—and they brought home FIRST PLACE! 🥇✨
After performing The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, which already won first place at Regionals on Nov. 8th, the team once again impressed—all four judges awarded them the top spot!
🌟 Individual Honors:
• Colin O’Neal & Martin Billups – Outstanding Acting Awards
• Arianna Adams – Best Actress (Regions A & B)
• Orion Soderholm – Best Actor (Regions A & B)
👏 A huge congratulations as well to Mrs. Hammond, WPHS Drama Coach, who was named Coach of the Year for Regions A & B!
The team now advances to the State Competition in Charlottesville on December 5th.
Let’s cheer them on as they take the big stage! 💙💛🎭
