🚨 Weather Alert Reminder 🌪️ As we prepare for the impending weather tomorrow, we want to remind our school community about the difference between a tornado watch and a tornado warning: 🔹 Tornado Watch – Be prepared! Conditions are favorable for tornadoes. Stay alert and review safety plans. 🔹 Tornado Warning – Take action! A tornado has been spotted or indicated by radar. Seek shelter immediately. Let's all stay informed and safe. 💙 #WPPSafety #StayWeatherAware

Mixing vaping with smoking cigarettes is a dangerous combination! Many young people who vape also smoke traditional cigarettes, which increases exposure to harmful toxins and makes it harder to quit both habits. Understand the risks of dual-use and commit to living a vape-free, smoke-free life for better health and a brighter future. 🚭

During Black History Month, 1st grade students listened to the story Change Sings by Amanda Gorman, an American poet and activist. Students brainstormed ideas on how they, even at a young age, could change the world as the girl did in the story. Ideas flowed from helping a friend to picking up trash on the playground. Students then were able to create their own paper guitar to show how change sings in them.
