Learn a Foreign Language Month is a great time to celebrate global learning. Research suggests that multilingualism supports improved memory and problem-solving abilities. Our world language programs empower students to build these strengths! 🌎✨

Last week, our 6th graders enjoyed a special visit from Smurfit WestRock employees, who guided students through the entire papermaking process—from sustainable forestry and harvesting to production and the paper we use every day. 🌲📄
Students were amazed by how many steps go into making just one sheet of paper, and they especially loved creating their very own piece to take home! This hands-on experience brought the science, craftsmanship, and local industry of papermaking to life right here in our town.
Thank you, Smurfit WestRock, for an unforgettable learning experience and for inspiring the next generation of scientists, engineers, and environmental stewards! 🌟

Before Thanksgiving break, our 7th grade Life Science students completed two exciting labs as they dove into the building blocks of life! 🧬🍓 They extracted real DNA from strawberries and built their own DNA models using marshmallows and Twizzlers. Hands-on learning at its sweetest — and most fascinating!
