Tuition
Thank you for your interest in becoming a tuition student within West Point Public Schools. The following steps have been developed to secure your seat.
- Complete an application and release of information. This should be completed by a parent/guardian and returned to our Central Office.
- The release of information must include the current school and the last school that the student attended. If you are applying for a first time kindergartner, please indicate that on the release form.
- West Point Public Schools will then request records from current and/or previous attending schools.
- Upon receipt of the student’s records the Director of Student Services, School Principal and Superintendent will review them for grades, behavior, etc.
- A recommendation will then be made to the school board to either accept or deny the application. This will happen at the monthly school board meeting.
- After the school board meeting, parents will be notified in writing by mail as to the school board’s determination.
- If your student has been approved for placement, along with the approval letter will be a contract for signature and a copy of the schedule of tuition payments.
West Point School Board has set the tuition for the 2017-2018 school year at $2,900.00 and is payable quarterly, August, October, January, and March.
