Thank you for your interest in becoming a tuition student within West Point Public Schools. The following steps have been developed to secure your seat.

  1. Complete an application and release of information. This should be completed by a parent/guardian and returned to our Central Office.
  2. The release of information must include the current school and the last school that the student attended. If you are applying for a first time kindergartner, please indicate that on the release form.
  3. West Point Public Schools will then request records from current and/or previous attending schools.
  4. Upon receipt of the student’s records the Director of Student Services, School Principal and Superintendent will review them for grades, behavior, etc.
  5. A recommendation will then be made to the school board to either accept or deny the application. This will happen at the monthly school board meeting.
  6. After the school board meeting, parents will be notified in writing by mail as to the school board’s determination.
  7. If your student has been approved for placement, along with the approval letter will be a contract for signature and a copy of the schedule of tuition payments.

West Point School Board has set the tuition for the 2017-2018 school year at $2,900.00 and is payable quarterly, August, October, January, and March.
